5-5-2008 Fans will now have a new feature on Donnie Moran.com .
We plan to give a rundown of the previous weekends race events
each week called RACE REPORT. Fans will be able to find
information such as all the qualifying, heat race, and main
event results. We will also feature details about each event.
Fans can also expect updated points from the Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series given it was a series race that past weekend.

This past weekend Moran was at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway
in Calvert City, KY for the 3rd Annual "99" Extravganza. Friday
May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd were to be two separate events
paying $9,999 to win each night and sanctioned by the Lucas Oil
Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Friday night May 2nd's events
were won by the famous Mother Nature. The event was cancelled
due to heavy rains and severe weather in the area and were not
rescheduled. On Saturday May 3rd the skies cleared up and the
dirt began to fly. Starting out the action Donnie qualified 4th
fastest which would transfer him to start his heat race 3rd. In
the heat race action Moran raced his way to a 4th place finish
for a transfer spot to the main event. When the green flag was
dropped for the start of "99" Extravaganza Donnie would sit
16th. With engines problems leading to a engine failure Donnie
was unable to finish the event. Moran was scored as finishing
22nd and now sits 6th in LOLMDS points with 1320 points. For
